Fox captured in Sea Girt prepares for release. Pics show her remarkable rehab progress
Back in November of 2013, Corporal Kevin Rooney of the Associated Humane Society assisted by the Sea Girt Police Department captured a sick fox that was reported numerous times running around the Borough of Sea Girt. The fox was brought to the humane society for evaluation, as you can see from the first picture, the fox was in very bad shape. Cpl. Rooney took the extra effort to contact a rehab facility which took on the task of rehabilitating the fox from advanced stages of mange. The first image was taken when the fox was brought to the rehab facility, the second image was taken in December 2013 and the third image was just taken on March 10, 2014. The rehab facility is awaiting for a break in the weather to release her to a more suitable location where she can continue her healthy life. She looks great another thank you to Corporal Kevin Rooney, Chief Luis Mercado Associated Humane Society and a rehabilitation facility that wished to remain anonymous.
