Please see the below listed prescribed burn locations planned for this weekend, per NJDEP. Many are in the South Region and contiguous Central Region counties. For your situational awareness.

Subject: Weekend Prescribed Burning
The New Jersey Forest Fire Service will be conducting a large amount of prescribed burning over this weekend (weather permitting). There will be a statewide mobilization of NJFFS resources to accomplish this project and to provide initial attack for any wildfires that may occur. Planned prescribed burning locations are as follows:

As you can see by the amount of projects that are planned, and as long as the weather cooperates, there will be large amounts of smoke in the air over central and southern New Jersey.
