THE RED FLAG WARNING IS NOW IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 9 PM MDT
THIS EVENING.

* AREA AND TIMING...WESTERN MOUNTAINS...NORTHWEST PLATEAU...EAST SLOPES OF THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS EASTWARD TO THE TEXAS STATE LINE.
PEAK CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR LATE AFTERNOON.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...SUSTAINED WESTERLY WIND BETWEEN 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS BETWEEN 40 TO 50 MPH.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...MINIMUM VALUES BETWEEN 5 TO 10 PERCENT LOWLANDS AND 8 TO 12 PERCENT MOUNTAINS.

* IMPACTS...ANY FIRES THAT DEVELOP WILL LIKELY SPREAD RAPIDLY.
