WATER MAIN REPAIRED, TRAFFIC PATTERN RETURNED TO NORMAL

Traffic is back to normal on 8th Street South (STH 13/54) near Pepper Ave following the repair of the water main and street surface.

Thanks to the WWLC Crew and WR Street Department for the quick repair.

WATER MAIN SHUT OFF, TRAFFIC RE-ROUTED AND REPAIRS BEGIN

With the water main break repairs beginning, and until further notice, traffic on 8th Street South (STH 13/54) at Pepper Ave in Wisconsin Rapids has been reduced from two lanes northbound and southbound to one lane each way. Pepper Ave has been closed off on each side of 8th Street South. Access to the businesses can still be gained from Pepper Ave, but traffic will not be able to cross 8th Street South on Pepper Ave or access Pepper Ave from 8th Street South. Traffic patterns will remain until repairs are complete. Please follow the electronic arrow boards for lane changes, stay within the barrels and obey the road closed and turn restriction signs.

Please Drive Carefully as Heavy Equipment will be used during the repairs and will be traveling into and out of that area.
