On March 13, 2014 at approximately 4:11 a.m., Los Banos Police responded to the 2200 block of Canal Farm Lane after receiving a report of suspicious circumstances. The reporting party told police, a suspicious vehicle was parked in the driveway and unknown persons were knocking on the door.
Police arrived and made contact with Stella Dominguez, 40, of Los Banos. Dominguez was uneasy leading officers to believe she was hiding something. The officers located 30-year-old Ramon Guevara Fletes of San Jose and 29-year-old Jacob Jeremiah Lopez of Mountain View hiding in the back of the vehicle.
The vehicle was reportedly stolen out of San Jose, California. During a search officers found a loaded gun and ski mask inside the vehicle. Fletes was also in possession of methamphetamine.
Fletes told police he was recently released from prison after serving time for grand theft auto.
“This is another great example of a resident alerting police of suspicious activity. The suspects were driving a stolen vehicle, armed and in possession of a ski mask; the suspects in this case were obviously up to no good.”

Fletes was booked into the Los Banos Police Department Jail Facility. His charges include: vehicle theft, possession of methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a loaded firearm with intent to commit a felony, participation in a criminal street gang and other related charges. He remains in custody in lieu of $305,000.00 bail.
Lopez and Moreno were both booked into the Los Banos Police Department Jail Facility. Their charges include: vehicle theft related charges and remain in custody in lieu of $60,000.00 bail.
