Man Cited for Illegal Fireworks
On March 15, 2014 at approximately 11:20 p.m., Police Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Stonewood Drive for a report of illegal fireworks. Police received reports from several residents regarding the fireworks.
One witness reported the fireworks coming from a specific address. The officers spoke to someone at the residence, who denied setting off fireworks.
Police remained in the area and observed 27-year-old, Francisco Trinidad of Los Banos, launch an illegal aerial firework from the street. Officers contacted Trinidad at the residence and issued him a citation for discharge of illegal fireworks.
“Mr. Trinidad is facing $1,250.00 in administrative fines. In these cases, the homeowner can also be cited for allowing the activity to continue.”
