Increased heavy truck traffic around the Westfield Mall for the next month, due to construction: 
Beginning this week (Week of March 31, 2014) there will be a significant increase in truck traffic around the Westfield Mall, as construction on the new portion is now underway.
Construction crews are going to be moving large volumes of dirt from the construction site at Victory and Topanga Canyon. The work will begin at 7:00 am and continue until 3:30 pm. We have been advised that this will continue for approximately one month.
There are no anticipated road clusures but the presence of the trucks is likely to impact traffic patterns.
Please be aware as you travel through the area during these times, and plan accordingly. Please always drive with caution and be patient.
**This is a message that has been relayed to the Topanga Area Police Station from the foreman of the construction crew. We have no further information regarding the construction at this time.
