It is important that participants have sufficient maturity and life experiences to be able to assess various situations and make mature decisions. Evidence of no criminal history from a law enforcement agency and a copy of your current valid Indiana gun permit or a letter of character from a public official from your place of residence are acceptable. I regret the inconvenience that the credentialing policy may cause, but I feel that participants do not wish to share their training experience with persons of unverifiable character.

Registration requirements and Process: Complete the application for training form, complete the Indemnification/Liability release agreement (one form per course), and obtain letter of character or copy of valid handgun permit. Original documents along with course fee can be dropped off at the Sheriff’s Office 206 East Gale Street Angola Indiana or sent via mail.
