The Marion Police Department is investigating a credit card fraud that occurred at Wal-mart on Friday April 4th, 2014, according to the investigation a black female entered the Marion Wal-mart (2875 Sugar Hill Rd, Marion, NC 28752) and purchased several items using stolen credit card number. The video footage shows the female attempting to use several other credit cards. According to the transaction receipts the other credit cards were denied. The victim of this fraud is from Arlington, TX. It’s unknown at this time how many different credit cards numbers may have been cloned and used. After exiting the store the female is seen entering a small black four door sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla unknown tag number. The Marion Police Department is asking anyone with information on the identity of this individual to please contact Sgt. Rick Gutierrez at 828-652-5205 or they can contact Crimestopper at 65-CRIME. Any information would be kept anonymous and subject to cash reward on the apprehension of the subject.
