Jury Duty Scam Hits Johnson County 
Two police reports have been taken in Johnson County today that involve a jury duty scam. Two separate Johnson County residents were contacted today via telephone and were told they did not respond to jury duty. The reidents were advised they could pay a fine and not be in trouble. The caller indicated that he was an Investigator with the Johnson County Sheriff's Office. This is a scam! Do not become a victim.
Instructions:
Do not fall for this scam. Send no money. The sheriff's Office will never call your residence and ask for you to pay a fine in order to stay out of trouble.
