Advisory

PRESS RELEASE: Warsaw man charged with possession of crack cocaine.

April 8, 2014

On Monday, April 7, 2014 at approximately noon, Warsaw Police were dispatched to the west side of Warsaw near Tippecanoe Drive and Hepler Drive for a suspicious male in red clothing acting strange. Police arrived in the area when another call to dispatch advised a male in red was jumping fences behind Purity Cylinder near Dot Street, which is a few blocks south of the original call. Police located the male on Dot Street and found the suspect to have trouble following simple instructions. The suspect was sweating profusely, agitated, and making statements that did not make sense. Officers located a pill bottle with the suspect’s name containing what appeared to be crack cocaine. The substance tested positive for cocaine. Kevin L. Bronson, 54 years of age, of Warsaw, was taken into custody and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a class D felony charge of possession of cocaine with a $2,000 bond. Warsaw Police were assisted by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
