On April 8, 2014, at approximately 11:08 am, an armed bank robbery occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank (1790 S. Bascom Avenue, Campbell). Two suspects wearing gray beanies and black masks entered the bank with handguns and ordered the employees and customers to the ground. There were over 25 employees and customers inside the bank at the time of the robbery, none of whom were injured.
There was a third suspect waiting in a vehicle in the parking lot. Officers located that vehicle soon after the robbery and determined that it was stolen.
