Oakland City Woman Arrested for Operation a Vehicle While Intoxicated
On April 13, 2014 at approximately 12:42AM Deputy Buck A. Seger was traveling South on HWY 61. He observed a Gray 2012 Jeep traveling North on HWY 61 traveling with its bright headlights approaching. As the vehicle passed the driver (later identified to be Allison J. Brewster) failed to dim the vehicles headlights. As Deputy Seger was speaking with Allison he observed she had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and the odor of an alcoholic beverage was on her breath. Upon completion of field sobriety testing, Allison was advised her Indiana Implied Consent Warnings. Allison agreed to submit to a chemical test. Test results provided advised Allison submitted a sample of .09%. Allison was then placed into the custody of jail staff.
