On Friday April 4th, at about 4:00 PM, the Healdsburg Police Department responded to a call of a subject in the Vineyard Shopping Center who was bleeding from stab wounds to his neck near Summit Bank. Police responded and located a 19 year old male suffering from multiple stab wounds to his neck and back. According to witnesses, several Hispanic male subjects drove up to the victim as he walked in the parking lot of the shopping center and assaulted him before fleeing in a vehicle. The subject was treated at an area hospital then later released. It is believed that the assault may have been gang related. The shopping center was busy with vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the time of the incident. The Healdsburg Police Department is asking that anybody who may have witnessed the assault or who may have information about it call the Healdsburg Police Department at (707) 431-3377.
