Sheriff's Office seeking information on wanted rural Fremont man Corey Alan Witsman. 
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance with locating a rural Fremont man who is wanted out of Steuben County for allegedly violating the terms of his probation. On 03/27/2014, an arrest warrant was issued by the Steuben Superior Court for 26 year old Corey Alan Witsman, charging Witsman with violating his probation. Witsman was serving a term of probation after being convicted of class C felony sexual misconduct with a minor in 2013. Witsman is also a registered sex offender and his current whereabouts are unknown. An investigation into Witsman’s alleged failure to register as a sex offender is ongoing by Sheriff’s detectives and additional charges are being sought. Witsman is described as a white male standing 5’10” tall, weighing 165 pounds, with hazel eyes, and auburn colored hair. Wistman was last known to have a jaw line beard and a moustache. Anyone with information on Witsman’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office or Steuben County Crime Stoppers.
