Public Service of New Hampshire has announced that a scam has been hitting the area, in which callers are claiming to be PSNH representatives. The callers say that the resident's power will be shut off if payment is not given over the phone. These calls are not from PSNH and are fraudulent. If you do receive such a call, hang up and call PSNH Customer Service at 1-800-662-7764. Please notify the police department as well, so we can be aware if the scam has hit our town.
