Kiwanis Spring K Classic on Saturday, April 19, 2014
10K Race starts at 7:30am
5K Race starts at 8:00am
Both races use the same route – the 10K will circle the route twice.
ROUTE: The route begins at Sweet Apple Elementary School. Runners turn left out of the school entrance, proceed W/B on Hardscrabble Road, N/B on Chaffin Road, N/B on King Road, E/B on Kent Road, then S/B on Etris Road to the school. Runners stay in the inside lane (lane furthest from the school).
NB lane of King Rd will have to turn right onto Chaffin Rd while runners are present
Kent Rd will be closed while runners are present
SB lane of Etris Rd will be closed while runners are present
WB lane of Hardscrabble Rd will be closed while runners are present
We expect the roads to open, depending on how many walkers could be as early as 9:30 or as late as 10:00.
