On Saturday 04/26/14, the Surf City Police Department will be collecting expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs from 10am - 2pm at Borough Hall/Police Headquarters as part of Operation Take-Back NJ. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
Individuals may dispose of medications either in the original containers or by removing the medications from the containers and disposing directly into the drug disposal box. If disposing in the original containers, individuals are encouraged to remove the prescription labels if they contain any personal identifying information.
Syringes are not accepted for disposal.
