While on regular patrol of Bordentown City a vehicle matching numerous anonymous tips for suspected drug trafficking in our jurisdiction was located. Upon a random run of the vehicles registration it was revealed to be expired. While effecting a traffic stop on this vehicle it was determined that Donnell Hayden, Jr 24 of Willingboro was carrying an unlicensed unregistered weapon. Mr. Hayden was taken into custody and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Handgun. Case is pending. Arresting Officers Ptl. Ryan Lynch and Sgt. Matthew Simmons.


March 29, 2014

While on routine patrol of Bordentown City a call for service came in for a male looking into vehicles on Railroad Ave. Upon arrival of Det. Bernotas a male known as Andre Vajdics, 31, of Bordentown City, was witnessed looking into vehicles known not to be his. Mr. Vajdics admitted to looking for loose change in vehicles. Mr. Vajdics was detained at that time while being searched he was found to have drug paraphernalia on his persons. Mr. Vajdics was charged with Criminal Attempt Burglary and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Case is pending court. Arresting Officer Det. Vincent Bernotas and Ptl. Dan Anderson.


March 27, 2014

While on routine patrol in Bordentown City Ptl. Jason Archer and Ptl. Joe Bourn were dispatched to the area of Prince St. for a hit and run to numerous parked vehicles. Patrol units searched the area for the suspected vehicle and located it on W. Burlington St. While speaking with the driver identified as Samantha Blum, 23, of Jobstown it was suspected that she was driving under the influence of alcohol. Ms. Blum was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and Failure to Report and Accident. Case is pending. Arresting Officers Ptl. Jason Archer and Ptl. Joe Bourn.
