Columbia Avenue Bridge and Raymond Road Closure - (April 28-July 18, 2014)
Columbia Avenue will be completely closed beginning on Monday, April 28th at 0800 hrs. Detours will be in effect on Columbia at the East Michigan Split and again at Cliff Street. At the same time, Raymond Road will be closed south of the bridge for any north/southbound traffic.
MDOT established detour routes:.
Eastbound Columbia Ave to Michigan Ave.:
Traffic traveling eastbound will be detoured to Cliff St. to Raymond Rd. to Michigan Ave.
Westbound Michigan Ave to Columbia Ave.:
Westbound traffic will be required to take the business loop Michigan Ave. to Raymond Rd. and then turn left (south) on Raymond Rd. to Cliff St. and then back to Columbia Ave.
Raymond Road
Raymond Rd. will also be completely closed during the bridge replacement
Northbound Raymond Rd
Traffic will follow Golden Ave. to Beadle Lake Rd. and then to Columbia Ave.
Southbound Raymond Rd
Traffic will follow Columbia Ave. to Beadle Lake and then south to Golden Ave. to Raymond Rd
