On 05-02-14, at approximately 10:00AM an AEPD unit was dispatched to a residence on Berkeley Road (50 block - lower end) in reference to an "Entering Auto."
Upon arrival and initial investigation, it was determined that unknown persons had entered a vehicle which was parked in the driveway. There were no signs of forced entry or items taken, but the ignition switch had been tampered with in an apparent theft attempt.
The estimated time of the incident is between 05-01-14 @ 8:00PM and 05-02-14 @ 7:30AM. No known suspects at the time of the report. Anyone having possible information related to the incident is asked to call Inv. Tom Gillis at (404) 391-4526.
