Upcoming Community Police Academy: 
Operations-Valley Bureau (OVB) will begin another session of the Community Police Academy on Thursday, June 12, 2014. These classes are held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, for eight weeks.
Attendees of the class will learn about laws, policies and procedures that Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers must follow; You will get to experience first hand a taste of what LAPD Officers experience during their time in the academy. Learn about community policing, neighborhood watch and many other interesting topics.
