The 31st annual National Night Out will happen on Tuesday August 5, 2014. Over 37.8 million people in more than 16,124 communities across the USA will join forces to promote police-community partnerships to fight crime and strenghten neighborhood spirit and unity.

On August 5, 2014 from 7 to 10 P.M. residents in neighborhoods throughout Escalon are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police. Block parties, cookouts, flashlight walks, youth activities and visits from the police are all suggested ideas that will demonstarte to all that we stand united to build a safer and stronger Escalon.
