Unexpected power outage at Mid County Central Dispatch. 
At approximately 8:14 AM today, a construction related incident at the Nederland Police Dept. resulted in a total power loss causing a power outage to the entire complex. This power loss resulted in a loss of all 911, telephone, and radio operations. Power was restored within 10 minutes and the situation has been rectified.
Mid County Central Dispatch dispatches all Fire, Police, and EMS calls for the cities of Nederland, Pt. Neches, and Groves.
Anyone who may have attempted to contact any of these agencies during this loss are urged to call back.
