Juvenile suspect arrested for bomb threat at Northridge Middle School. Click link for more info:

The Van Buren Police Department responded to a bomb threat at Northridge Middle School at approximately 9:45 this morning after a threat was found in a bathroom stall. A student had written the threat in pencil saying that there was a bomb in the building. A 13 year old male student was identified and arrested for posting the threat and was subsequently arrested at approximately 11:45am. The juvenile was charged with communicating a false alarm. Communicating a false alarm is a serious offense and is a class D felony if the false alarm communicates a present or impending bombing of a public or private educational institution.
