Just a reminder to everyone that this year's Click It or Ticket campaign has started and runs through June 1, 2014. The Kitty Hawk Police Department would like to remind Outer Banks residents and visitors that it is the law to wear your seat belt - “Every Seat. Every Time.” Law enforcement officers will be out in force across the state and here on the Outer Banks day and night enforcing “Click It or Ticket” for drivers and passengers who fail to buckle up. Failure to buckle up can result in fines of up to $161.
