A busy weekend in Lake Lure may slow down traffic through our beautiful town. Please be patient and remember, it would be a great time to slow down and enjoy our surroundings. Our town will have its Annual Spring Arts and Crafts Festival in the Arcade area in downtown Lake Lure. Plenty to stop and do. Please remember to slow down especially around the lake as there will be many pedestrians, bikers and vehicles. The Lake Lure Police Department will be out and about as well.

Also, don't forget the Memorial Day remembrance at the Veterans Flag Pole in the Arcade parking lot Monday morning at 9am. It's a perfect time on the lake to appreciate those who served and continue to serve us so well.
