Update: Arrest made regarding explosions heard in Lakewood.
This is an update to our previous community advisory in which Lakewood Sheriff’s Station reported residents had heard sounds of explosions in the late night to early morning hours occurring in the city of Lakewood. Personnel from Lakewood Sheriff’s Station continue to provide safety for the citizens and community we serve.
The suspect involved in causing these explosions has been arrested. The suspect is being held on charges of manufacturing an exploding destructive device, as well as other charges. The investigation is ongoing.
