Two Search Warrants Lead to Four Arrested in Scott County

Scott County- Around 4:00 am this morning, officers from the Indiana State Police executed two search warrants. One search warrant was executed at a residence on Oard Springs Road in rural Scott County. During that search warrant two people were arrested. William Robert Waldon, 29, from Cross Street in Austin and Ashley Nicole Vernon, 25, from Oard Springs Road in Scottsburg were arrested and incarcerated at the Scott County Jail. Both were arrested on the charges of Dealing in Methamphetamine, Possession. of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, Possession of Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

The second search warrant was executed at a residence on State Road #256 in Scott County and Gary W. Waldon, 53, of Austin was arrested on the charges of Possession of Marijuana under 30 Grams, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle and Possession of Paraphernalia. Matthew Murdock, 31, of Austin was also arrested at the scene for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia. Both of the arrested were incarcerated at the Scott County Jail.
