(UPDATE) #LASD Shooting Death Investigation, 3500 Block of Burton Av, Lynwood;1 Male Deceased, Century Sheriff's Stn

 

Sheriff's Homicide Detectives continue their investigation into the shooting death of a man on the 3500 block of Burton Avenue, Lynwood, on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. 

 

Detectives learned that deputies from Century Sheriff’s Station responded to the location pursuant to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon. When the deputies arrived, they discovered the male-victim inside the location with apparent gunshot wounds on his body. 

 

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
