SCAM involving a fictitious lottery/sweepstake from Apex Financial has been reported to the Delanco Police Department. The scam is that you will receive a letter indicating that you won a cash prize ($350,000) but you need to pay the processing fee ($3,850.00) prior to the winnings being sent to you. The letter will include a check in the amount of $4,350.00 for you to deposit into your account so you can send a certified check in the amount of the processing fee. The check that you will receive is fraudulent and will not clear, so the money for the certified check will be your own and you will never receive the prize money. Please report all SCAMs to your local police
