TRAVIS MCGRAW FOUND GUILTY OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER IN THE DEATH OF VANESSA MCGRAW 
A Polk County jury has returned a verdict of guilty of First Degree Murder in the trial of Travis McGraw is superior court this afternoon.
McGraw was charged with First Degree Murder in the death of his wife Vanessa Mintz that occurred February 2011. McGraw has continued to claim his innocence that he had no involvement in her death.
McGraw was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Honorable Tommy Davis the state mandatory sentence of Life in Prison without the Possibility of Parole. He will be transported to Central Prison in Raleigh where he will immediately begin serving his sentence.
