Van Nuys Area will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary/ Open House today between 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. In attendance will be Cheif Beck, Assembly Member Narzarian ,Council Member Martinez, Coucil Member Krekorian, Council Member LaBonge and Area Command staff. Static displays from LAPD's Bomb Squad, SWAT, and other entities within the Los Angeles Police Department will be present.
