Early Morning Search Warrant in Harrison County

Harrison County-At approximately 6:15 am this morning, troopers from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg along with deputies from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at 1525 Crosby Road NW in Ramsey. Information was gained by troopers ealier in the morning of an alleged Indoor Marijuan Grow at the the residence and the adjoining garage on the property.

During the search officers located items such as, duct work, insulation, plywood boards, grow lights, potting soil, plant trays, ballasts, scales, Marijuana books and wiring. A hidden room inside the garage was also located with live/growing marijuana plants.

While officers were searching the property the occupant of the residence, Wade Gilbert Brown, 55, from the searched address, arrived home and was taken into custody. He was charged with Cultivating Marijuana, D Felony; Possession of Marijuana over 30 Grams, D Felony and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, D Felony.

He was incarcerated at the Harrison County Jail awaiting his first court appearance. This investigation is continuing. The Harrison County Prosecutor’s Office assisted in this investigation.
