The Bordentown City Police Department wants to remind everyone that Saturday June 14, 2014 the Green Fair will be held at Carslake Community Center (207 Crosswicks Street). The event will start at 10am and conclude at 4pm. There will be various Local Eco-Friendly Organizations and Vendors, Children’s Activities, Food, and Free Musical Entertainment. The Bordentown City Police Department will have an officer there to conduct City Resident Bicycle Registrations and Bicycle Safety Inspections. The registration program allows the City Residents to submit their information and bicycle information. The city then issues a sticker to be placed on the bicycle. If a bicycle is ever stolen the department can use that information obtained to enter the bicycle into the NCIC System. Also if a person is stopped and the sticker is observed, the number can be crosschecked to verify that the bicycle belongs to the operator.
