Death Investigation in Washington County

Washington County-Yesterday morning at 10:52 am, the Pekin Town Marshall and the Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call at 1124 North Anna Street in Pekin. The call was in reference to a male with a gunshot wound. Officers at the scene summonsed Indiana State Police Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators to the residence to assume the investigation.

The deceased was identified as Darryl Thornton, 50, from the above mentioned address.

Investigation is continuing.
