PRESS RELEASE: 23 Year Old Warsaw Man Arrested for 2009 Child Molest.

Yesterday, Warsaw Police arrested a 23 year old Warsaw man after investigating an alleged child molest that occurred in 2009. Warsaw Police were called on Monday morning by the Indiana Department of Child Services after receiving the complaint from staff at Warsaw Community Schools. The investigation found that in the summer months of 2009, then eighteen (18) year old Terren Raphael, sexually molested an eleven (11) year old girl that the suspect and his mother lived with in Warsaw. The now fifteen (15) year old victim stated that she was threatened at the time of the occurrences by the suspect if she told anyone about the sexual encounters. Terren Raphael was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on two (2) B felony counts of child molesting with a victim under the age of fourteen (14). He is being held on $10,000 surety bond. Additional charges may occur in this case. Warsaw Police were assisted in their investigation by the Indiana Department of Child Services, Warsaw Community Schools, and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
