Advisory

Weekly and Monthly Lytle PD Report has been posted to our website.

Good afternoon,
We have uploaded the weekly report to the website, the monthly report from May was also posted last week. The monthly report most likely has more info. than you care to read but I believe it is important to put as much info to the public as possible. Call or email if you have any questions.

I am glad to report this past week was mostly uneventful here at the Lytle PD. We didn’t arrest anybody, no trip to the Atascosa County Cross Bar Hotel, no trip to the Hondo Hilton, and no trip down to old Frio St. in San Antonio. I guess Spurs fever occupied everybody and nobody wanted to end up in Jail and miss one of the games. We did have our first ever Spurs Spirit Rally last Thursday at the old H.E.B. parking lot at 4 pm. Not sure how many people showed but it could have been in the 300-400 person range. It was so hot out there on the blacktop I actually got a little overheated and spent the last half of the event in my patrol vehicle cooling down. We had some “super” Spurs fans for sure, I don’t think an “average” Spurs fan would have put up with the heat. The emcee, Ms. Campa, really kept it going, I would have passed out up on that stage. I am glad the Spurs won, I was fearing another 4 pm spirit rally had the series continued.

Thanks,
Richey Priest, Chief of Police
