Man Arrested for Annoying/Molest a Child under 18 Years Old at Ruben F. Salazar Park, Los Angeles
On June 19, 2014 a deputy from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department - Parks Bureau received a call regarding a male adult had annoyed or molested a Female Juvenile at the Park Pool. The deputy responded to Ruben F. Salazar Park and contacted the victim.
After further investigation the suspect who was still at the park was subsequently detained and identified as Lauro Gonzalezz Rojas, a male, 42 years old, and a resident of Los Angeles. Additional information revealed Mr. Rojas had annoyed or molested the victim by grabbing her buttocks while she was in the pool.
Suspect Rojas was arrested and booked at East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station. He was later released with a citation to appear in court.
