SUBJECT OF RELEASE: Two Vehicle Personal Injury Crash
DATE AND TIME: Approximately 6:42 P.M. on Sunday, June 22, 2014
LOCATION: The intersection of Gravel Ridge and Coral Roads, Pine Township.

Montcalm County Sheriff Deputies responded to a two car crash that resulted in five people being injured.

Gloria Clayton, age sixty from Coral, was travelling east on Coral Road with her passenger, fifty-eight Robert Andresen also from Coral, in a 2011 Ford F150 pickup. Clayton collided with a vehicle north bound on Gravel Ridge Road. The north bound vehicle was a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse driven by seventy year old Felix Bosco of Frankenmuth. Patricia Bosco, age sixty-eight from Frankenmuth, and Dorothy Debolt, age ninety of Bay City, were also in the Traverse.

The investigation determined that Bosco failed to yield right of way to the east bound Ford and pulled into the path of the Ford. Patricia Bosco was transported from the scene by Aeromed to Spectum in Grand Rapids where she was treated and reported to be in stable Condition. Dorothy Debolt was transported by Montcalm County Emergency Medical Services to Kelsey hospital with minor injuries and is also reported to be in stable condition. Felix Bosco, Gloria Clayton, and Robert Andresen sustained minor injuries and elected to seek their own treatment for those injuries.

Felix Bosco, Gloria Clayton, and Robert Andresen were seat belted. Patricia Bosco and Dorothy Debolt were back seat passengers and neither was seat belted. There were no indications of other contributing factors that led to the crash.

In additional the Montcalm County Emergency Medical Services and Aeromed, Maple Valley Fire, Lakeview Fire, and the Michigan State Police assisted at the scene.
