Kidnapping Suspects Arrested.
During the evening of June 16, 2014, the Montclair Police Department executed multiple Search Warrants at different locations in the cities of Ontario and Montclair, which ultimately led to the arrest of three suspects. The suspects were wanted in connection to a carjacking and kidnapping that occurred earlier that same day.
On the morning of June 16, 2014, the Montclair Police Department responded to medical assist in the 4600 block of Kingsley Street. The victim flagged down an ambulance and advised the medical personal about the alleged crime. The incident originated overnight at a residence in the City of Montclair, and the suspects were known to the victim. The victim stated he was driven around by the suspects for an extensive period time, against his will, in the backseat of his vehicle. During the incident, he stated he was assaulted several times. He re-gained consciousness while in the backseat of his vehicle later that morning, and realized he was in the 4600 block of Canoga Alley. He was able to walk away from the location, and flagged down a passing ambulance. Members of the Montclair Police Department conducted an extensive investigation throughout the day, which subsequently led to the arrest of all suspects involved.
