The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is Hosting a Third “Coffee with a Cop” Community Discussion on Friday, June 27th, 2014.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a third community discussion with east Bakersfield residents this Friday, June 27th, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the Kern County Sheriff’s Office East Bakersfield Substation, 1700 Flower St., in Bakersfield.
This third “Coffee with a Cop” community discussion will be an opportunity for east Bakersfield residents to meet members of the Sheriff’s Office, share information, and exchange ideas with the goal of improving the quality of life in east Bakersfield neighborhoods. Sheriff’s Office personnel, including patrol deputies, detectives, and crime prevention staff will be on hand to talk to area residents. This meeting will allow the public an opportunity to get to know the Sheriff’s Office, give Sheriff’s Office personnel an opportunity to listen to the concerns of residents, and identify ways for the Sheriff’s Office and the community to work together.
