Assistant Chief Glen T. Harmon Retires 
On June 24 2014, Assistant Chief Glen T. Harmon retired form service with the Spindale Police Department. Glen has served our community with distinction for over 32 years. He has held every rank from Reserve Officer to Interim Chief and has been the guiding force for the Department's investigative division. His compassion and sense of duty have been a huge asset to our Town. He will certainly be missed.
Assistant Chief Harmon received a Certificate of Retirement from Town Manager Cameron McHargue and The Order of the Long Leaf Pine from Chief R.A. McIntosh.
