Office at East Lewis near Dexter Broken Into
The break-in occurred sometime between last Wednesday, June 25th and Sunday night/Monday morning June 30th. A door was pried. The office was gone through. Several thousand dollars in $2.00 bills were taken. Local and area banks and businesses have been contacted re anyone paying with or trying to exchange two dollar bills. Anyone observing such transactions or attempts to use, exchange, or deposit a large quantity of $2 bills is asked to contact the Milan Police Department at 734-439-1551.
