Those traveling through Annapolis & Southern Anne Arundel County need to be aware of the following traffic advisory areas that could impact your travel. Please give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination and drive carefully.

** Motorist traveling East on Rt. 50 through Davidsonville, Annapolis and to the Eastern Shore should expect very heavy traffic by mid-day Thursday July 3rd. Traffic is expected to remain heavy through at least 8:00pm on July 3rd.

** Ridgely Ave in Annapolis, at the Weems Creek Bridge, will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic from 6:00am Friday July 4th through 8:30pm Sunday July 6th. During this time the bridge will remain locked in the open position for marine traffic to pass.

**4th of July Parades will affect motorist on the following roadways on Friday July 4th.
- Shady Side- 10:00am-11:30am Rt. 468 (Shady Side Rd) from W. River Road and Snug Harbor Road.
- Galesville- 1:00pm-2:00pm Rt 255 from Anchors Way and Benning Road
