A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 pm & Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 8 pm. Thunderstorms will produce locally heavy rainfall, possibly in excess of 1 inch per hour.
Rapid water rises on streams and creeks and in low lying areas are possible which could lead to flash flooding of roads.
Instructions:
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding, a very dangerous situation. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.
