On 07-04-2014 at 11:20pm the Pike County Central Dispatch advised Deputies of a Domestic Dispute on W CR 125S (OATSVILLE ROAD).
Upon arrival Deputy C. Tharp spoke with Megan McKendry and she advised that she and Joshua had gotten into an argument and that he had spit it her face. Megan stated she shoved Joshua and he grabbed her and pinned her down on the chair. Megan did have visual bruising on her right arm where Joshua had grabbed her by her arms. At that time due to Joshua having possible firearms I verbally ordered him out of the above residence. Joshua exited the trailer and was ordered to the ground. Deputy B. Seger then placed Joshua in handcuffs and double locked them for his safety. In speaking with Joshua he stated that he had gotten into an argument with Megan and she slapped him in the face and also spit in his face. Joshua admitted grabbing Megan and forcefully slamming her down onto the chair and that his father broke up the physical dispute. Joshua had scratches across the right side of his face from the confrontation.
In speaking with a witness at the scene, the witness stated that he had been staying with Megan and Joshua to help with their problems and help take care of his grandchildren. The Witness stated he was in the living room and began to hear Joshua and Megan arguing in their bedroom. The witness stated that their bedroom door came open and Megan began yelling about Joshua spitting on her and then Megan slapped Joshua knocking his glasses off and then spit in Joshua's face. Joshua then grabbed Megan and slammed her into a chair. Witness also stated that he ran into the bedroom and broke up the altercation between Megan and Joshua.
