SEVERE WEATHER EXPECTED TODAY

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON FOR AREAS ALONG
AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40 STARTING AROUND 4 PM AND LASTING
THROUGH 8 PM. DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND HEAVY RAINFALL...WHICH WILL
CREATE A LOCALIZED FLASH FLOOD THREAT...ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE
STORMS. BY 8 PM...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM THREAT WILL SHIFT SOUTH
OF INTERSTATE 40. DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND FLASH FLOODING WILL BE
POSSIBLE THROUGH AT LEAST MIDNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AGAIN WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
FOR AREAS SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40...ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE CLOSER TO
THE ALABAMA STATE LINE. DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL BE THE MAIN THREATS.
