Beach Hazards Statement in effect through 11pm. Please use caution if you are enjoying our south facing beaches!
Hazards surf conditions remain at south facing beaches in Los Angeles county. This includes all of the beaches along the south side of Rancho Palos Verdes. Please ask the lifeguards if conditions are right for swimming, as we have had several recent rescues in the area.

"...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS
EVENING... * HAZARDS AND TIMING...A LONG PERIOD SOUTH SWELL WILL CONTINUE TO BRING A HIGH RISK OF VERY STRONG AND DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS TO AREA BEACHES AND ELEVATED SURF TO MANY SOUTH FACING BEACHES THROUGH THIS EVENING."
