On Thursday, 07/10/14, for an undisclosed period of time, the city of Alhambra will be closing off Fremont Ave. south of the South Pasadena border at Alhambra Road for 710 Day. According to news reports, 710 Day allows persons to gather in support of a 710 Freeway tunnel under South Pasadena.
Drivers are encouraged to find other routes to and from South Pasadena and points beyond as Fremont Ave. between Alhambra Rd. and Main St. will be closed off to through traffic.
